1. What's included in the bundle?
The Bianco Vulcan BIA-MH15SHP Honda GX160 Fire Fighting Pump, a 1.5″ fire hose kit (4 m 1.5″ suction hose with strainer and 6 m 3/4″ delivery hose with fire spray nozzle), and a large engine driven pump dust cover (COVER-LRG).
2. Will the hose kit fit this pump?
Yes. The hose kit is made for 1.5″ high pressure fire pumps, and the BIA-MH15SHP is a 1.5″ pump, so the suction hose connects straight to it. Ring us on 1300 902 361 if you want to add extra delivery hose for longer runs.
3. What else do I need to get it running?
Fuel, engine oil and a water source. The pump ships without engine oil, so add 0.5 L before you pull the cord, and fill the pump housing with at least 2 litres of water before starting. Running it dry chews out the mechanical seal in seconds and voids the warranty.
4. Can I run the pump with the dust cover on?
No. Take the cover completely off before starting, because engines need airflow and a cover traps heat and exhaust. It's a dust cover for storage in a shed or under cover, not a weatherproof shelter, so let the pump cool fully before you put it back on.
