Will this fit my pump?
It suits any 1.5" high pressure fire pump, which covers both Water Master models we stock, the GX160 and the GX200. If your pump has a 1.5" suction inlet, this kit connects to it. Ask us first if you are unsure what you have.

Is 6 metres of delivery hose enough?
It depends on the job. Six metres is fine if you can position the pump close to what you are wetting down, which is usually the case around a house. For longer runs you can add extra delivery hose, but bear in mind that every metre costs you a little pressure at the nozzle.

Do I need anything else to get running?
No. With this kit and the pump you have a complete setup. You will need fuel and engine oil for the pump itself, and a water source — a tank, dam or pool.

Any safety points worth knowing?
Keep the strainer fully submerged so the pump never runs dry. Check the hoses for perishing and splits at the start of each fire season, because a hose that has sat in the sun for a year can let go under pressure. Never point a high pressure jet at a person.
