The X-range iTechWorld lithium battery models feature built-in Bluetooth connectivity that pairs with your smartphone via a free app. You'll see real-time data, including current charge level, voltage, temperature, charge/discharge current, and cycle count. The app also displays your battery's health status and alerts you to any potential issues before they become problems.
Mixing iTechWorld lithium batteries with lead-acid batteries in the same bank isn't recommended. They have completely different charging profiles, discharge characteristics, and internal resistance. Your charging system will struggle to properly charge both types simultaneously, potentially damaging one or both battery types.
If you're upgrading from lead-acid to an iTechWorld lithium battery online, it's best to replace the entire bank. However, you can run them as separate systems – for instance, keeping your vehicle's starter battery as lead-acid while using iTechWorld batteries for your auxiliary camping power needs.
Your solar panels will work fine with iTechWorld batteries, but your solar regulator needs a lithium or LiFePO4 charging profile. PWM and MPPT regulators are your best bet for efficient charging. Simply switch the regulator to lithium mode, and it'll charge your battery correctly.
Our iTechWorld lithium batteries for sale handle cold better than you'd think! They operate safely down to -20°C, though charging performance drops below 0°C. The built-in BMS limits charging in freezing temperatures to protect the cells.
If you're camping in alpine areas or during winter, consider models with self-heating tech that warms the battery before accepting charge, or store your iTechWorld battery inside your heated camper.
You bet! Your iTechWorld lithium batteries should be the same brand, model, age, and charge level to connect. The BMS in each battery manages its own cells, so parallel connections work brilliantly. Series connections (for 24V) also work, but require batteries specifically designed for it. Check your battery's manual or ring us for guidance.
You'll need a charger with a lithium or LiFePO4 setting. Standard lead-acid chargers won't cut it because they use different voltage profiles. We recommend chargers that deliver 14.4-14.6V for bulk charging and 13.6-13.8V for float. AC mains chargers, DC-DC chargers, and solar regulators all need the lithium setting.
