2. Will the hose kit fit this pump?

3. What else do I need to get it running?
Fuel, engine oil and a water source. The tank takes 3.1 litres of unleaded petrol, 86 octane or higher, and the engine takes 0.6 litres of oil. Check the oil before every season, and drain or stabilise the fuel before long storage.
4. Can I run the pump with the dust cover on?
No. Take the cover completely off before starting, because engines need airflow and a cover traps heat and exhaust. It's a dust cover for storage in a shed or under cover, not a weatherproof shelter, so let the pump cool fully before you put it back on.
