Welling & Crossley 1200W Portable Power Station FAQs
1. What can it run?
1200W rated with 2400W surge from a 1152Wh LiFePO4 battery. That covers a fridge, lighting, laptops and charging, with enough surge headroom for something with a motor to start. Three AC outlets, four USB-A and USB-C are fitted.
2. How long will the battery last?
3,000 or more cycles to 80% of original capacity. LiFePO4 is the longer-lived and safer lithium chemistry, which is why it's used here rather than the lighter alternatives.
3. Is it easy to move?
Yes, it's a comfortable one-person lift, so it moves between the house, the van and the car without fuss. Note the listing quotes both a pack weight and a unit weight, so check the figure that matters for your situation.
4. What's the difference between rated and surge output?
Rated output is what it will sustain continuously, 1200W here. Surge is the brief extra it can supply when a motor starts, up to 2400W. Size your gear against the rated figure, not the surge one.
