Swellpro Fisherman Max 4500mAh 6S Lithium Flight Battery
Swellpro Fisherman Max Flight Battery: The Second One Is The One That Matters
Thirty minutes goes fast when the fish are on. You've got the drone out past the break, the bait's away, and then the low-battery warning starts chirping while the water's still boiling. One battery means one shot, then a long wait by the charger. The Swellpro Fisherman Max 4500mAh 6S flight battery is the fix, and it's the same genuine pack the drone ships with — 22.2 V, 4500 mAh, good for up to 30 minutes of flight and enough thrust to hold station in 18 m/s of wind. Charge one while you fly the other and the session runs as long as you do.

Swellpro Fisherman Max Flight Battery: What You Get
- A full second session instead of a long wait — up to 30 minutes of flight per pack, so with a spare in the car you fish through the tide change rather than sitting on the sand watching a charger.
- It's the genuine pack, not a copy — the same 22.2 V 6S LiPo Swellpro ships with the Fisherman Max, so the drone's own battery management, fit and sealing all work exactly as designed.
- Back in the air in under an hour and a half — 80 minutes from flat on the standard charger, and it'll take up to 8 A if you're running a fast charger and need a quick turnaround between drops.
- Full power means full stability — a fresh pack keeps the thrust available to hold position in winds up to 18 m/s, which is when a sagging old battery starts to cost you drops.
- Drops straight into the sealed hatch — no tools, no adaptor, no rewiring. Slide the old one out, slide this one in, and go.

Swellpro Fisherman Max Flight Battery FAQs
Will this fit my FD1S or FD3S?
No. This pack is built for the Fisherman Max and nothing else — the housing, contacts and capacity are specific to that airframe. The FD1S and FD3S use their own 6S packs that slide into a different hatch. If you're not certain which drone you've got, check the model name printed on the top of the body, or give us a call on 1300 902 361 before you order.
How should I store it between trips?
Not fully charged and not flat. LiPo packs last longest sitting at around half charge in a cool, dry spot — a shed in a Queensland summer is the fastest way to kill one. Charge it the night before you fish rather than leaving it topped up for weeks, keep it out of the car on hot days, and never store it in a sealed container with anything flammable.
What charging current should I use?
4 to 5 A is the safe everyday rate and what we'd recommend for normal use. It will accept up to 8 A if you need a faster turnaround between sessions, but charging hard every time shortens the pack's life. Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface, stay in the house while it's charging, and don't leave it on the charger overnight.
When should I stop using it?
Straight away if the casing is swollen, puffed or cracked, if the contacts show burn marks or corrosion, or if it's been through a heavy crash or a saltwater dunking. A damaged LiPo is a fire risk, not a repair job. Don't put a failed pack in the household bin either — most councils and battery retailers run a drop-off point through the B-cycle scheme.
