1. What's the difference between ESP and PRP?
ESP is emergency standby power, 22kVA / 17.6kW here, for short-term backup when the mains fails. PRP is prime rated power at 20kVA / 16kW, which is what it will sustain continuously. Size against PRP for anything other than occasional backup.

2. What engine is in it?
A Hyundai H4DW91-29D 4-cylinder diesel at 2.54 litres (2540cc), running at 1500 RPM. It takes 8 litres of oil.

3. How long will it run?
The 80 litre bunded tank at approximately 4.6 L/hr at 75% load gives well over a day of running. The bund catches any fuel leak rather than letting it reach the ground.

4. What safety precautions should I follow?
Outdoors only, always. Diesel generators produce carbon monoxide, which you cannot see or smell, never run it inside a shed, garage or under an awning, even with doors open. Keep it clear of flammable materials, don't exceed its rated output, and let the engine cool before refuelling.
