Electric start on the same 8kVA / 7.0kW platform, driven by a Honda GX390E 389 cm³ engine rated at 8.0HP continuous at 3000 RPM.
2. How long will it run?
Approximately 2.6 hours at full load from the 6.1 litre tank, longer at reduced load. Output is single phase 240V at 50Hz.
3. Should I keep the battery charged?
Yes. On any electric-start generator the most common no-start is simply a flat battery after a long period unused. If it sits between jobs, a maintenance charger is worth having.
4. What safety precautions should I follow?
Outdoors only, always. Petrol generators produce carbon monoxide, which you cannot see or smell, never run one inside a shed, garage or under an awning, even with the doors open. Keep it clear of flammable materials, don't exceed its rated output, and let the engine cool before refuelling.
