A pre-wired unit with an integrated inverter, AC charger, DC2DC charger and MPPT solar regulator, plus a battery temperature sensor, a monitoring display and control panel, pre-installed wiring and circuit protection, and the installation manual.
2. What are the charging inputs?
Vehicle input at 12V or 24V up to 50A from the alternator, and mains at 240V AC up to 60A. Solar depends on the version — the DC2DC version takes up to 45V open circuit and 800W, while the Tristar version handles up to 120V open circuit and 720W.
3. Which solar version should I choose?
It comes down to your panel layout. The Tristar version's higher 120V open-circuit limit suits panels wired in series over a longer run; the DC2DC version suits more conventional arrays. Ring us on 1300 902 361 with your panel details and we'll tell you which fits.
4. What size is it?
1195 x 380 x 111mm. It arrives pre-wired on its board or in its enclosure, which removes most of the work and the guesswork. You still need the system mounted and connected to your batteries, vehicle and any solar, and that's high-current wiring.
