1. What's in the eSYS-E?
A pre-wired enclosure containing a DC-DC battery charger, a solar charge regulator, built-in fuses and circuit protection, ready-made connection points, mounting hardware and a user manual. It measures 490mm wide by 600mm high by 100mm deep.
2. What can it charge from and how fast?
Vehicle charging at 12V or 24V up to 50A, solar up to 800W at around 45V open circuit, and 240V mains with up to 40A charging. Battery monitoring is integrated.
3. Does it include an inverter or batteries?
Neither. It's the charging and protection side of a system. If you want 240V outlets you'll need an inverter as well, and the battery bank is separate. Call us on 1300 902 361 and we'll check the eSYS-E is the right board for what you're building.
4. Does it need professional installation?
It arrives pre-wired on its board or in its enclosure, which removes most of the work and the guesswork. You still need the system mounted and connected to your batteries, vehicle and any solar, and that's high-current wiring.
