1. What can the 800Ah Ultra Slim XL Lithium Battery be used for?
The 800Ah battery is designed for high-demand off-grid setups in caravans, 4WDs, canopies and boats. Its large capacity and 380A constant discharge capability make it suitable for running equipment such as fridges, induction cookers, inverters, Starlink, air compressors, computers and lighting.
2. Does the battery require professional installation or assembly?
The battery does not require assembly, but correct installation and mounting are important due to its 95kg weight. The manufacturer recommends installation by a qualified auto electrician. When installed along the base of a canopy or similar surface, it should be securely hard-mounted with its weight properly supported by the floor.
3. What safety features does the battery have?
The battery uses A-grade automotive LiFePO4 cells and incorporates a modified Heltech Battery Management System (BMS) with an active balancer. The BMS provides protection against conditions including overheating, over-discharge and low temperatures, while the active balancer helps manage individual cells for reliable performance.
