The 460Ah battery is designed for high-demand 12V off-grid systems in caravans, 4WDs, canopies and boats. It can be used to power equipment such as fridges, induction cookers, Starlink, air compressors, computers, lighting and 240V appliances through a suitable inverter. It provides a 380A constant discharge rating for demanding setups.
2. Does the 460Ah battery require professional installation?
Yes, professional installation by a qualified auto electrician is recommended. Custom Lithium also advises that when installing the battery along the base of a canopy or similar surface, the battery's weight should be fully supported by the floor rather than relying on the bottom mounting rail.
3. What safety features does the battery have?
The battery uses premium A-grade automotive LiFePO4 cells and has an integrated Heltech BMS with active balancing. The BMS provides protection against overheating, over-discharge and low-temperature conditions. The battery also uses a protective aluminium enclosure with components insulated against vibration.
