This battery is designed for high-demand off-grid setups in caravans, 4WDs, canopies and boats. It can power equipment such as fridges, induction cookers, Starlink, air compressors, washing machines and 240V appliances when paired with a suitable inverter.
2. Does the battery require professional installation?
Professional installation is recommended. Custom Lithium advises having the battery installed by a qualified auto electrician. When mounted along the base of a canopy or similar area, it should be securely hard-mounted so its 42kg weight is properly supported.
3. What safety features does the battery have?
The battery uses premium A-grade automotive LiFePO4 cells and includes a Heltech Battery Management System (BMS) with an active balancer. The BMS provides protection against overheating, over-discharge and short circuits, while the active balancer helps maintain the individual cells for reliable performance.
4. What warranty comes with the 24V 460Ah lithium battery?
