1. What can the 1120Ah Ultra Slim XL Lithium Battery be used for?
The 1120Ah battery is designed for high-capacity off-grid power systems in caravans, 4WDs, canopies and boats. It can support equipment such as fridges, induction cookers, Starlink, air compressors, computers, lighting and 240V appliances when paired with a suitable inverter. It has a 12.8V nominal voltage and supports up to 380A continuous discharge.
2. Does the 1120Ah battery require assembly or professional installation?
The battery itself does not require assembly, but it must be securely installed and connected to a compatible electrical system. When mounting it along the base of a canopy or similar area, the manufacturer recommends hard-mounting it to the floor on its flat face or one of its longer sides. Due to its size, weight and electrical requirements, installation by a qualified auto electrician is recommended.
3. What safety features does the battery have?
The battery uses A-grade automotive LiFePO4 cells and features a modified Heltech Battery Management System (BMS) with an active balancer. The BMS provides protection against conditions including overheating, over-discharge and low temperatures, while the active balancer helps manage the individual cells for reliable performance.
4. What warranty does the 1120Ah battery include?
The 1120Ah Ultra Slim XL Lithium Battery is advertised with a 7-year warranty. Custom Lithium states that LiFePO4 batteries purchased on or after 1 January 2025 receive a 7-year full warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Improper installation, physical damage, incorrect charging and unauthorised modifications may be excluded from coverage.
