The Amptron Type D Tray - Built Around The Long, Slim 200Ah
The 200Ah Slimline BluEdge packs serious capacity into a low-profile shape, but all that extra length needs a mount made for it. A generic tray leaves the ends unsupported, and an unsupported battery is one that works itself loose on the corrugations.

1. Which battery does this tray fit?
The Amptron 12V 200Ah Slimline BluEdge, SKU AT-LFP-12-200-BTC-DV10. Tray dimensions are 460 x 135 x 224mm, so another battery may fit if it sits inside those measurements, but measure yours first. Ring us on 1300 902 361 if you want it confirmed.
2. How is this different to the 200Ah Classic tray?
Shape, not capacity. The Classic 200Ah is a conventional box and uses a tray 370 x 200 x 189mm. This one is 460 x 135 x 224mm, built for the Slimline's longer, narrower, taller form. Same price, completely different fit, so match the tray to your battery model rather than its capacity.
3. Do I need an auto electrician to fit it?
Not for the tray, that's a self-installation job. Wiring the battery is another matter, so if you're doing the electrical side as well, leave that to someone qualified.
4. Why does the slim shape need its own tray?
Because a long, narrow battery sitting in a tray built for a boxier one is only supported in the middle. The ends can lift and flex on rough ground, which is exactly the movement that loosens terminals and chafes cables over time.
