1. What applications is the Amptron BluEdge 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery suitable for?
The BluEdge 48V 100Ah battery provides 5,120Wh of rated capacity with a 100A continuous discharge current, making it suitable for applications such as off-grid power systems, RVs, marine setups, mobility equipment and industrial systems. Bluetooth, CAN bus and RS485 connectivity also allow integration and battery monitoring.

2. Does the battery require professional installation?
Proper installation is important, particularly when integrating the battery with inverters, chargers or other 48V equipment. The battery uses M8 connection terminals with a specified 6Nm terminal torque limit. Batteries can be connected in parallel where appropriate, but series connection is not supported. Always follow the Amptron user manual and applicable electrical requirements when installing the battery.

3. What safety features are built into the battery?
The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) provides protection against low and high voltage, short circuits, over-current, reverse polarity and excessive temperatures. The battery also features an IP67-rated enclosure, rated against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water.

The BluEdge series is backed by an Australian-based 5-year warranty.
