Honda GH14000E-FBT FAQs
1. What's the difference between LRT and FBT?
The fuel tank. LRT is the long-range tank version at 25 litres, giving around 7 hours at 60% load in a more compact frame. FBT carries a 50 litre tank in the base, roughly doubling the run time to 11 hours or more but making the unit longer and heavier. Pick LRT if it moves between jobs, FBT if it stays put and you want fewer refuels.
2. How long does it run?
Approximately 11 hours at 60% load from the 50 litre tank, against around 7 hours for the LRT version.
3. What are the output details?
14.5kVA (11.6kW) maximum continuous at 240V single phase, 50Hz, from a Honda GX630 / GX630E OHV 688cc engine with electric start. Noise is approximately 74 dB(A) at 7 metres and the alternator is brushless.
4. What safety precautions should I follow?
Outdoors only, always. Petrol generators produce carbon monoxide, which you cannot see or smell — never run one inside a shed, garage or under an awning, even with the doors open. Keep it clear of flammable materials, don't exceed its rated output, and let the engine cool before refuelling.
