Honda GH12000E-LRT-3 FAQs
1. Is a three phase generator right for me?
Only if you genuinely have three phase equipment or supply. Most homes and small workshops are single phase, and a three phase generator won't suit them. If you're not certain what you have, ring us on 1300 902 361 before ordering — it's the most common and most expensive mistake on these.
2. What's the difference between LRT and FBT?
The fuel tank. LRT is the long-range tank version at 25 litres, giving around 7 hours at 60% load in a more compact frame. FBT carries a 50 litre tank in the base, roughly doubling the run time to 11 hours or more but making the unit longer and heavier. Pick LRT if it moves between jobs, FBT if it stays put and you want fewer refuels.
3. What are the specifications?
12.5kVA (10.0kW) at 0.8 power factor, three phase at 415V and 50Hz, running at 3000 RPM. The engine is a Honda GX630E OHV at 688cc producing around 14.1HP, with approximately 7 hours at 60% load from the 25 litre tank. Noise is around 74 dB at 7 metres.
4. What safety precautions should I follow?
Outdoors only, always. Petrol generators produce carbon monoxide, which you cannot see or smell — never run one inside a shed, garage or under an awning, even with the doors open. Keep it clear of flammable materials, don't exceed its rated output, and let the engine cool before refuelling.
