Find the perfect power solution for your camp. Whether you're upgrading from lead-acid or building a new system from scratch, we'll help you choose the right capacity and configuration.
Download the Amptron app from your phone's app store, then connect it to your device. You'll see real-time data including voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge. The app also shows historical data and can alert you to issues.
Some Amptron lithium batteries online come with the app pre-paired, but reconnecting is easy if needed. Keep your phone within 10 metres for best connectivity.
Connecting different capacity batteries together causes uneven charging and discharging. The smaller battery works harder and wears out faster. Stick with identical models, capacities, and ages when wiring Amptron batteries in parallel or series. If you need more capacity, match your new unit to your existing one or go for a complete upgrade.
Direct alternator charging isn't ideal for Amptron lithium batteries. Your alternator outputs a variable voltage designed for lead-acid chemistry, not lithium. Install a DC-DC charger between your alternator and battery – it regulates voltage and current properly while protecting your vehicle's electrical system.
If the BMS disconnects, you could round it down to over/under voltage, excessive current, or temperature extremes. First, let the Amptron lithium battery rest for 10-15 minutes. Check connections for looseness or corrosion. Look at your Bluetooth app to see what triggered the cutoff.
Most times, the BMS resets automatically once conditions normalise. If it keeps cutting out, you've got a system issue: oversized loads, faulty charger settings, or wiring problems. Ring us, and we'll troubleshoot with you.
Depends on your daily power consumption and sunlight hours. A 100Ah Amptron battery stores roughly 1,280Wh of energy. If you use 50Ah daily, you need to replace 640Wh. With 5 hours of decent sun, a 200W panel generates about 700Wh – enough to recharge and run daytime loads. If you’re dealing with cloudy skies, add a 25-30% extra capacity.
