It uses a Honda GX390 engine and features both recoil and electric starting. It has two RCD-protected 15A outlets plus a 32A circuit-breaker-protected outlet.
2. Does the generator require assembly before use?
The generator comes in a sturdy open frame and is designed as a portable unit. An optional wheels and handles kit can be fitted to make moving the 95 kg generator easier. Before first use, follow the supplied Owner's Manual for initial setup, oil and fuel requirements, pre-start checks and correct operating procedures.
3. What safety features does the Gentech 8 kVA generator have?
It features RCD earth-leakage-protected outlets that are Work Safe approved and comply with Australian Standards. These provide additional electrical protection for worksite use.
